Base color is color that is applied at the root or all over from root to ends.
We use the term "Level" to indicate the lightness or darkness of the hair. Color level is based on a ten-step scale with 1 being black, and 10 being lightest blonde. Your colorist is able to choose which color shades will work best to give you the desired results, and whether you'll need to pre-lighten the hair in order to achieve the look you want.
When changing your base color, such as going lighter using color, everyone's hair pulls warm tones (red, orange, gold). This is because of the hair's natural undertones. Our Stylists create formulas to enhance or cancel the unwanted warm tones.
If you have color treated dark hair, unfortunately, we can not make color go lighter. You may need a process called, "color correction". If you have colored your own hair, it is important to let us know when making your appointment.
Our hair color products offer coconut oil and vegetable proteins to keep your hair healthy, shinny, and soothing on your scalp. They do not stain the skin like other color systems!
We have a natural form of ammonia free hair color system while using a certified argan oil that moisturizes the hair with antioxidants vitamin A and E to protect the hair from external influences.
Because everyone's hair is different, we base our prices on the work that goes into it, technique, the amount of product being used, and Stylists Level. Exact prices are only given at consultation.
During consultation, our Stylists will determine your hair service and pricing.
To help us determine, please know that we will ask for your two-three year color history, what your hair goals are, and you may be asked to send us current and inspiration hair photos.
