What is a Balayage Highlight?
A Balayage Highlight is a French word that means to "sweep". In this color technique, highlights are hand-painted or "swept" on the surface of random sections of hair. Lightner is painted on, starting mid-shaft and becoming denser as it moves down the section of hair to ends.
In most cases, we use foils to enhance brighter results when "balayaging" . Balayage will give a more subtle or seamless result than a traditional highlight. As always, it can be adjusted to fit each individual differently.
While any form of a Balayage technique is more technical to apply and cost more than a traditional highlight, it can be a low maintenance highlighting service.
Lived-In Color Or Lived-In Highlight?
Similar to a Balayage Look but made to be soft, and very low maintenance highlight. This highlight costs more upfront and takes longer to achieve the desired results, however it is less time spent on retouches. Ask your Stylist about a Lived-In color look.
Full Tip Out Highlight
What is a full tip out? We consider this as 100% of your hair is highlighted from the ends up to mid-shaft. This creates that full lived-in look. This technique takes more time to apply and process, it also costs more upfront, but is very low-maintenance to keep up with.

What is a Classic Highlight?
Traditional or Classic Highlighting is a foiling technique in which strands of hair are lightened from root to ends in a specific sectioning pattern leaving some natural hair in between each foil.
Sometimes specific sectioning techniques are used to make sure hair is evenly highlighted so it doesn't have a streaky result.
While classic highlights are all the way to the part or root of the hair, they require more maintenance.
Although sometimes our Stylists will suggest a mixture of a classic and balayage together.
CONSULTATION IS REQUIRED
